Bulgaria became a part of the EU on January 1, 2007. Years of hard work made it all possible. Bulgaria is one of the last countries to enter the EU for a while, so it is a special honor. For too long, Bulgaria has not been taken care of by its own people and governments, or by other countries. The country has great natural beauty and much to offer. However, many of the roads, parks and other tourist places are in a bad condition. Bulgaria will receive money and experts from the EU to correct these problems. As a member of the EU, Bulgaria will have what it needs to begin the long process of change. Bulgarians will have a paradise in the heart of Eastern Europe to offer the world. It’s time for everyone to discover Bulgaria. It is not a big country but it is beautiful and rich in history. People here are ready to make you welcome and say-”Nice to Meet You!”
